Submission
We want Agile Portugal to be an inclusive event for all agile practitioners and enthusiasts, whether coming from small or large institutions, companies, or academia. We encourage you to report and share your experience on a topic of your expertise, by submitting a high-quality proposal for one of the following types of sessions:
- Talks — 20min presentations (+10min questions) about a topic of your expertise;
- Lightning talks — 5min presentation, inspiring and innovative;
- Posters — an idea, tool, or research work presented informally and interactively.
Know more about these types of session on the program page.
Submission Instructions
Submit a one-page abstract (~400 words) to the program committee by May 5th. You will receive a notification by May 12th, inviting you to develop a final version to present at the conference.
Submissions are made through the easychair system:
- Provide a description of what your session is about on the “abstract” field of the submission form. Be sure to clearly state what the attendees should expect. Lay out a plan for the session, state any learning objectives, and which concepts, skills, principles and approaches will be addressed. Please include in the end of this field a final paragraph about yourself. How would you describe your experience with agile and with the specific topics of the submission?
- You don’t need to send the slides as part of your submission, but we encourage you to do so, even if in draft form. You can attach your slides using the “Upload Paper” section of the submission form.
Speaker Compensation
Accepted talks and posters will be granted a free admission to both days of the event (doesn’t include the tutorials on the first day). Accepted lightning-talks will receive an exclusive Agile Portugal gift.
